Brza \u017eeljeznica koja povezuje sve europske metropole<\/h2>\n

Stoga ne samo da ubrzavaju gospodarski razvoj, ve\u0107 i zamjenjuju letove na kratkim relacijama brzim vlakovima, posljedi\u010dno smanjuju\u0107i emisije uglji\u010dnog dioksida i uklanjaju\u0107i smetnje i buku iz zra\u010dnih luka.<\/p>\n

Samo 6 od 27 zemalja EU ima lokalne veze brzim \u017eeljeznicama, a HSR izme\u0111u glavnih gradova EU prili\u010dno su rijetki. Europa i dalje zanemaruje potencijal za razvoj infrastrukture HSR-a na velikim udaljenostima. Pozitivan ekonomski u\u010dinak izgradnje HSR-a mjerio bi se milijardama eura, a smanjenje uglji\u010dnog otiska EU iznosilo bi stotine milijuna tona CO2.<\/p>\n

Kako bismo HSR-om povezali glavne gradove Europe, zemlje moraju sura\u0111ivati i stoga smo pokrenuli Europsku gra\u0111ansku inicijativu. Prema europskom zakonu, Europska komisija obvezna je posvetiti se na\u0161em cilju povezivanja europskih glavnih gradova brzom \u017eeljeznicom ako prikupimo najmanje 1.000.000 potpisa gra\u0111ana EU-a. Slijedom toga, mnoge europske zemlje sudjeluju u inicijativi.<\/p>\n

Jednake udaljenosti, npr. izme\u0111u glavnih gradova Zagreba i Budimpe\u0161te, koje se trenutno putuju za 6:30 sati, mogle bi postati dostupne i za 1:20 sati \u010dim se izgradi prava brza \u017eeljeznica. Na primjer, dok se gradovi Zagreb i Milano mogu povezati vlakom bez presjedanja, drugi vlak koji koristi isti kolosijek u drugo vrijeme mo\u017ee napraviti nekoliko usputnih zaustavljanja u velikim gradovima kao \u0161to su Ljubljana, Venecija i Verona.
